Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Aztez are the Epic Games Store’s next free games

The Epic Games Store's free games keep coming in 2020, with two new titles set for Feb. 13-20. Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Aztez make for a bloody pair of free games next week.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a story-based RPG from Warhorse Studios and Deep Silver. Players can battle through the world of the Holy Roman Empire in the first person, facing off against enemies of all kinds. In addition to battling, players can explore the open world and make important decisions.

Aztez, from Team Colorblind, mixes turn-based strategy and traditional beat-'em-up combat to create something new. Players can strategically expand their empire — the Aztec Empire — via the overworld map. But battles take place on a 2D plane, with powerful moves to take down enemies. The game is also heavily stylized, with black, white, and red battles.

Both Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Aztez are a few years old — 2018 and 2017, respectively. But Aztez still runs for $19.99 on Steam, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance is still $29.99.

Carcassonne and Ticket to Ride went live this morning, and are available for free until Feb. 13. Epic previously announced that Pandemic would join Carcassonne and Ticket to Ride as a free game on Feb. 6, but it's currently not listed on the store's website. It may be delayed, or could come at a later time.
