Award-winning Everything is free on the Epic Games Store

Two games are free for a week on the Epic Games Store: David OReilly's Everything and 4A Games' Metro: 2033 Redux.

Everything and Metro: 2033 Redux are free for Epic Games Store users until Oct. 3. OReilly's Everything is an award-winning reality simulator released in 2017 on PlayStation 4 and PC, and in 2019 on the Nintendo Switch. (Everything was ninth in Polygon's 2017 Game of the Year list.) Developer by 4A Games, Metro: 2033 was released in 2010; Redux was released in 2014 on PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One.

Games are offered for free each week on the Epic Games Store; if these don't catch your eye, they'll be two more soon. Before replacing the free games with Everything and Metro: 2033 Redux, Epic gave away six Batman games — Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City, Batman: Arkham Knight, and the Lego Batman Trilogy.

Come Oct. 3, Everything and Metro: 2033 Redux  will be replaced by indie puzzle game Minit.
